At DeansList, we pride ourselves on providing phenomenal support to our clients. Our School Success Team is our superpower - talented dedicated professionals always willing to go above and beyond to make sure the school leaders and educators we work with are set up for success.
As an Associate member of the School Success Team, you’ll work directly with our clients (primarily school leaders, Deans, data leaders, and teachers) in a variety of capacities, from training new school teams, answering tickets, and troubleshooting user issues, to advising clients on how to leverage DeansList’s vast featureset to address their schools’ unique needs. You’ll also work cross-functionally with the rest of DeansList team to contribute ideas and suggestions for product improvements and new features.
Responsibilities
- Act as front-line support for our clients, reviewing incoming tickets, answering them if possible or escalating them to the appropriate team member.
- Lead training sessions and webinars for school teams on how to use all aspects of DeansList’s software.
- Conduct meetings with school leaders to answer questions, provide guidance on best practices, retrain on features as needed, and be an overall problem solver.
- Support summer onboarding for new schools by configuring sites and completing high‑volume setup tasks so school teams are ready to use the platform on day one.
- Notice and surface patterns: recurring questions, friction points, and “small but frequent” issues that may point to needed product tweaks, better guidance, or new resources.
- Create and maintain helpful resources for colleagues and customers (slide decks, guides, talking points) that make it easier for schools to share their implementation vision and expectations with staff.
You Are a Great Fit If…
- You naturally problem-solve with technology, clicking around, testing things out, and finding creative solutions, rather than stopping at “it doesn’t work.”
- You’re curious about how things work under the hood and enjoy digging into settings, data, and documentation.
- You take ownership: when a problem lands with you, you feel responsible for moving it forward, even if that means pulling in others or asking hard questions.
- You like working with educators and school teams and approach their challenges with empathy, patience, and a focus on what will work in the real world, and you don't mind spending much of your day on Zoom, providing 1:1 support.
- You’re comfortable shifting between heads-down investigative work and high-touch, people-facing work, such as calls, training, and partnership with teammates.
- You love providing amazing support that makes someone’s day and understand that doing that sometimes requires special talents like deciphering a vague or hard-to-understand email and de-escalating tense situations.
- While this is a remote job, you enjoy spending your day working and collaborating with others, both teammates and our school clients.
- DeansList experience is a PLUS!
