Supply Chain Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations management within a manufacturing setting
- Hands-on ERP experience with BOMs, Item Masters, production scheduling, and inventory management
- Proven background supporting or leading ERP implementations or major system transitions (Syspro preferred)
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methods (Green Belt-level skill preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, purchasing, logistics, and production to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Solid communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to drive change across multiple teams
- Data-driven mindset focused on consistency, workflow optimization, and measurable performance
Must Haves (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):
- Lead and coordinate the ERP system rollout, ensuring accurate data migration and user adoption
- Manage production scheduling and materials planning to balance lead times and inventory goals
- Develop and document standardized processes and SOPs across supply chain functions
- Oversee inventory optimization and supplier cost management initiatives
- Partner with leadership to define and track KPIs for cost, delivery, and efficiency
- Support Lean, 5S, and other process improvement programs throughout manufacturing operations
- Serve as the point of contact between supply chain, production, and IT teams to ensure alignment on system functionality
Supply Chain Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience with Syspro, Epicor, or similar ERP platforms
- Green Belt Certification or comparable Lean/CI experience
- Background in mechanical or industrial equipment manufacturing
- Demonstrated success improving workflow visibility, lead time, and inventory accuracy
