The Property Control Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire reliable and hardworking Distribution Coordinators to provide support at the Clarkston Campus.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is required to pick-up and redistribute furniture for five campuses in addition to the electronics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Assist in the receiving, inspection, and preparation of inventory and non-inventory equipment/supplies for distribution.
· Applies proper techniques in the care and preservation of items received, stored, and distributed or redistributed.
· Cross references nomenclatures, part numbers and other information against purchase orders to verify accuracy.
· Maintains computer records of items delivered and received through an automated inventory system.
· Compiles data from sources such as purchase orders, bill of lading, and other materials or supplies and computing inventory balances.
· Generates and places asset decals on equipment considered assets.
· Performs the receipt, storage, handling, and disposal of electronic surplus materials between departments and the surplus warehouse.
· Performs or assist in the movement of all electronic and asset surplus material including receiving, issuing and reporting any shortage, overage or damaged materials.
· Assists in the loading of surplus items on vendor transport.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High school or GED and three years of related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Efficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications and inventory tracking systems in general.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Effective time management and organizational skills.Ability to lift/move heavy items using safety equipment (up to 50 lbs or more).Ability to prioritize work assignments and work under general supervision.Must have a valid State of Georgia Drivers License.Must have a basic knowledge of computer components.
