Voluware’s VALER® is a cloud-based application automating health care revenue operations and providing connectivity solutions among health care insurers and providers. Voluware is looking for talented software engineers who enjoy directly interfacing with customers and channeling their creative energies to solve real world problems.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, approach problems from the customer's perspective, coachable, and true to her/his word.
Responsible for:
- Advanced web portal automation technology development, instrumentation, deployment, and customization.
- Maintaining and extending database schema and data as appropriate for adding new features or resolving product issues
- Server-side development to support additional features or resolve product issues, including extensions to product APIs
- Document feature changes, estimate effort and complete work according to plan, both in terms of timeliness and adherence to specifications.
- User interface software development to customize operation of VALER®
Technology Stack:

Must have:
- Excellent Python skills
- 1+ years of development work on Linux platforms
- 1+ years of data communication protocol and interface development (REST)
- Enthusiasm for working directly with VALER users and the patient population they serve
- Desire to work in fast-paced, ever evolving environment
Ideal candidate will be:
- 1+ years developing web scraping tools (Chromedriver, or other web scraping tools)
- Able to converse fluently around all stack areas
- Understand the challenge and fun of building custom software solutions distributed over a cloud infrastructure
- Coachable
- Team player
Candidates must be in the Los Angeles or Orange County area of Southern California. The position is currently remote, but with plans to transition to Hybrid.
