As a Coordinator I on the Standard Operating Model (SOM) Performance Team, you will support Ensemble’s mission to redefine the possible in healthcare by driving excellence across the Standard Operating Model (SOM). Reporting to the Manager of SOM Performance, this role is responsible for validating workflows, identifying gaps in execution, and supporting root cause analysis (RCA) across client implementations and ongoing operations.
You will serve as a key contributor in evaluating compliance with Ensemble’s proprietary best practices, supporting performance tracking, and ensuring that SOM workflows are implemented with precision and consistency. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive measurable improvements.
Job Responsibilities:

- Operational Insight: Understands revenue cycle workflows and can identify gaps or inefficiencies in execution.
- Workflow Validation: Review and validate Standard Operating Model (SOM) workflows across front, middle, and back-end revenue cycle areas.
- Performance Monitoring: Track outstanding tasks and workflow milestones using structured tools like Cloud Coach. Ensure documentation is complete, up to date, and aligned with governance standards.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate performance gaps in key performance indicators (KPIs), identify underlying issues, and contribute to improvement plans that support strategic initiatives.
- Collaboration & Risk Mitigation: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify operational risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and update job aids and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practices. Assist in preparing performance dashboards and reports for leadership review.
- Communication & Engagement: Participate actively in team meetings, one-on-one check-ins, and client accountability calls. Maintain a professional presence, including being camera-ready when appropriate.
- Time Management & Accountability: Accurately log project and non-project time weekly in Cloud Coach. Meet all assigned deadlines and proactively communicate with leadership if adjustments are needed.
- Continuous Learning: Take ownership of your professional development by leveraging internal and external resources to expand your knowledge and skills.
- Professionalism & Adaptability: Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Demonstrate flexibility, a positive attitude, and adaptability in a dynamic and evolving team environment.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
Experience We Love:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with MS Office products
Required Certifications:
- HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) within 9 months of hire OR HFMA Certified Specialist Business Intelligence (CSBI)
