A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, abstract, and report data from trauma patient medical records
- Participate in trauma registry courses and maintain necessary certifications
- Ensure accurate data entry and management in trauma database systems
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Health Information Management or related program or applicable experience
- Licensure/certification such as CAISS, CSTR, or RHIT required within two years of hire
- Previous trauma registry experience preferred; computer data entry experience required
- Knowledge of trauma database systems and computer system interfaces preferred
- Ability to perform detailed and organized work
