Join the Transport.net Product Management team as a Senior Project Manager and Product Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software solutions. In this dynamic position, you'll help define system scope and objectives, contribute to software design, and lead end-to-end project management efforts to ensure the successful delivery of innovative features.
You'll dive deep into business and user needs, translating them into clear, actionable system requirements. As a mentor to junior Business Systems Analysts, you'll guide them through complex analysis and documentation processes. Your expertise spans multiple technical phases, allowing you to assess the impact of emerging technologies on both current operations and future possibilities.
From overseeing development timelines and deliverables to aligning milestones with strategic goals, you’ll be at the heart of product innovation. Plus, you’ll harness the power of AI to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, and drive exceptional results in both product development and project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead feature and project delivery from start to finish—overseeing daily tasks, tracking milestones, and actively contributing to product development through software design, requirements gathering, and story writing as a core member of the Transport.net Product Team.
- Own project timelines and deliverables, ensuring every milestone is met with precision and aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to maintain alignment, drive progress, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Create and maintain essential project documentation, including detailed plans, status updates, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate project meetings and foster clear, consistent communication among stakeholders to keep everyone informed and engaged.
- Leverage cutting-edge AI tools—including generative and agentic AI—to supercharge project and product management activities like PI Planning, resource allocation, risk analysis, progress tracking, and backlog refinement, enabling smarter, faster, and more adaptive execution.
- Engineer workflows that optimize business processes and system capabilities.
- Troubleshoot application issues within medical transport management systems, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data using advanced tools, and resolve data-related issues with precision.
- Engage directly with end-users, translating their feedback and problem descriptions into actionable solutions.
- Document requirements, write user stories and log bugs, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Serve as a vital liaison between implementation and product teams, bridging gaps and driving seamless collaboration.
- Potential for travel from 6-8 times per year
Qualifications:
Education & Industry Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven track record of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders within a product management environment
- Strong proficiency in leveraging cutting-edge generative and agentic AI tools to enhance both product and project management workflows
- 4+ years of experience working within a product management team (preferred)
- Familiarity with medical transport management systems is a plus
