Position Summary
We are seeking Benefit Activation Specialists to help newly enrolled members understand and activate the full range of features that come with their Medicare Advantage plans. This role is essential in supporting clients after enrollment, ensuring they feel confident in using their coverage and making the most of their plan benefits.
Responsibilities
- Receive live call transfers from Clearview agents immediately following a member’s enrollment.
- Outbound dial members in some cases to ensure they receive timely benefit education.
- Educate members on plan features such as:
- Finding and selecting doctors or specialists.
- Using allowances for groceries, over-the-counter products, and other covered items.
- Understanding prescription coverage.
- Activating free gym memberships and locating participating facilities.
- Accessing and navigating additional plan resources.
- Answer member questions with professionalism and empathy.
- Track member interactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide additional support to improve member satisfaction and engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, call center, or healthcare-related experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain benefits clearly.
- Patient, empathetic, and customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable using computer systems and managing documentation.
- Reliable internet and professional remote work environment.
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay: $17/hour + Commission opportunities.
- Hours: Full-time, standard business hours.
- Optional Overtime: Available on weekdays and Saturdays during peak season (Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, October 15 – December 7).
- Remote position with performance-based earning potential.
