With a genuine cloud-first, agile, and digital mindset, the TELUS team is embarking on a journey to modernize its SAP landscape, team, and service delivery approach with migration to SAP (RISE) S/4 HANA.
In this role, you will join a dynamic and highly skilled technology team of functional analysts and developers who are committed to delivering working solutions that enable best-in-class business and systems capabilities, guided by our customers’ needs and strategic priorities.
What you’ll do
As a key member of the DevOps team, you will play a critical role in driving the team’s success by ensuring architectural quality across the full development lifecycle — from requirements and design to implementation and operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
- Understand and translate complex business requirements into appropriate SAP solutions
- Design, customize, configure and testing of SAP Financial Accounting
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems
- Assess SAP-based Finance solutions by driving requirements elicitation, effort estimation, vendor evaluations, solution blueprinting, delivery oversight, and risk assessments
- Assist in design of complex Finance enhancements and/or extensions to standard SAP using latest SAP technologies
- Defining release plans and sprint schedules in alignment with the overarching program vision, in collaboration with Solution Architects
- Providing strategic technology and process recommendations to support scalable, sustainable system architecture while removing technology-related barriers
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including business and technology teams, to shape solution blueprints and support effort assessments
- Mentoring and supporting team members, sharing your expertise to build team capability and ensure alignment with DevOps principles and architectural goals
