Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Remote (Eligible States: AZ, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, NE, NH, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, WI)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Variable compensation will be discussed upon interview.

Job Overview
As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in our Finance team, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance. You’ll work with large datasets, collaborate cross-functionally, and help drive process improvements in a dynamic SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support accounts receivable/payable and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors
- Contribute to system enhancements and process automation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–6 years of accounting experience (SaaS or tech industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and accounting software
- Experience working with large datasets and cross-functional teams
- Public accounting experience is a plus
