SENIOR REGULATORY SPECIALIST
As a Senior Regulatory Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our software and services remain aligned with applicable federal, state, and industry-specific regulations. You’ll monitor regulatory changes, interpret their impact on our customers, and collaborate across teams to ensure timely updates and communications. You’ll also help shape regulatory strategies and support product development with subject matter expertise.
This is a REMOTE option- Those residing in AZ, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, NE, NH, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, MI & WI are welcome to apply!
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Variable compensation will be discussed upon interview.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and industry-specific regulatory requirements relevant to our platform and customer base.
- Analyze regulatory changes and translate them into actionable internal guidance and product updates.
- Collaborate with Product, Legal, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure our offerings remain compliant and clearly communicate regulatory value to customers.
- Partner with the Compliance and Product teams to implement proactive controls and regulatory features within the platform.
- Lead regulatory audits or readiness assessments to support customers and internal initiatives.
- Develop and maintain regulatory documentation, customer-facing content, and training materials.
- Represent the company in conversations with regulators, industry associations, or legal counsel as needed.
WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in a regulatory or compliance role, ideally within a SaaS, legal, or similar company servicing motor carrier fleets.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for the trucking industry (e.g., FMCSR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into operational or product guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey regulatory updates to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Bonus: Experience supporting or developing compliance automation tools or working in a SaaS product development lifecycle.
