Akkodis is seeking a Bilingual Call Center Agent for a contract job with a client in Jacksonville, FL (100% remote). Candidates must have strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of third-party administrator (TPA) operations to effectively handle provider inquiries and deliver accurate, industry-specific support.
Note: Employees receive 10 days of paid time off (PTO) annually, in addition to all company-observed holidays when the company is closed
Rate Range: $17/hour to 18/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Bilingual Call Center Agent job responsibilities include:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from both providers and members, delivering accurate information in both English and a second language.
- Provide clear, culturally sensitive customer service regarding medical, dental, vision, COBRA, and other benefits.
- Navigate automated systems and escalate complex inquiries to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions to support claims processing and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong industry knowledge, especially in third-party administrator (TPA) services, to support school districts, hospitals, and other clients.
- Detect potential fraud and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on insurance products, policies, and industry trends to provide informed support.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or healthcare administration are a plus.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish preferred) with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
- Strong understanding of third-party administrator (TPA) operations and experience handling provider inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, and claims.

Pay Details:$17.00 to $18.00 per hour
