The Remote Solutions Administrator, Revenue Integrity’s primary responsibility is processing Release of Information (ROI) requests for provider business office clients, from our corporate offices or remotely as determined. These individuals retrieve electronic documents from provider financial service systems, logs pertinent information, and transfers electronic document images into the Exchange Manager proprietary database. This individual will work with multiple external payer portals to upload records for expedited and secure distribution and may be required to work across multiple clients.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use multiple electronic data systems to process information including EMR and provider financial service systems.
- Manage internal portal for assigning shipment information
- Manage external portals for distribution of PHI
- Manage short turnaround times to positively impact revenue retention and prevent backlog.
- Communicate with team members and client representatives as needed to resolve issues.
- Make decisions about what specific record components to release/make available.
- Review and apply HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy statutes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma.
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Release of Information experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills. Accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments.
- Experience retrieving information from computer database is helpful.
- Dependable, good organizational skills, good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Positive teamwork-oriented attitude.
