About The Position
Medical Collection Specialist – Glen Burnie, MD (Hybrid Option Available After 90 Days)
Full-Time | Schedule Options: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
MedBridge Healthcare is currently hiring a Medical Collection Specialist, for our ReactDX division, Glen Burnie, MD location. This full-time position becomes eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 90 days. We’re looking for candidates with at least 1–2 years of medical collections experience and a strong understanding of insurance payers and billing procedures.

MedBridge Healthcare is a leader in sleep disorder diagnosis and therapy management. We partner with hospitals and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive solutions for identifying, treating, and supporting patients with sleep-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor claim status and follow up on rejections, denials, and unpaid claims
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and denials
- Process appeals (online and paper submission) and billing inquiries from patients and third-party carriers
- Analyze billing trends and payer issues; report findings to management
- Collaborate with providers to clarify incomplete or inaccurate information for proper claim adjudication
- Respond to correspondence and billing-related questions from patients or insurers
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in medical collections (2+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in understanding insurance policies and billing systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
