Job Description
The Associate, Advisor Technology roleon the Wealth Technology Solutions teamat Mariner is an ideal position for a wealth management professional looking to join a firm that has been ranked in the top five RIAs by Barron’s for the last six years. The successful candidate will be organized and responsive, along with being a problem solver with a strong team mentality and be driven to grow professionally and personally.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage many inbound calls, emails and/or service requests related to tech support of four primary applications in the advisor platform - eMoney, Holistiplan, Riskalyze and Vanilla.
- Identify advisor needs, clarifies information, researches the issue, and provides appropriate recommendations/solutions.
- Attend training and completes assignments to familiarize themselves with the advisor platform, client support practices and consulting disciplines.
- Answer service calls or emails of increasing complexity regarding advisor platform applications.
- Stay up to date on advisor platform system releases, new features, bugs and prepare updates for the firm.
- Help to assimilate and track data used to report on advisor participation rates in training programs and utilization rates for our technology.
- Provide technical guidance and support to advisors during onboarding and implementation processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the technology platforms to ensure smooth onboarding and optimal advisor and end client experience.
- Actively participate in the development and enhancement of training materials and resources for our tech stack.
- Develop a deep understanding of our advisors’ needs and business processes.
- Work with the team to evaluate our technology offering and assist with identifying and implementing improvements.
- Be a go-to-resource for a broad range of questions pertaining to various aspects of planning technology and provide support as needed to address incoming advisor requests
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience
- Familiarity with the Wealth Management industry and 1-3 years’ experience working for a wealth management firm or wealth technology provider
- Familiarity with web applications and financial planning technology
- Experience with eMoney, Nitrogen, and/or Holistiplan is preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of talent across multiple US geographic markets. The base pay for this position across all US geographic markets ranges from $75,000/year to $80,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
