Medcor is currently seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to work remotely for a client located in Bradley, IL. This is a 20 hour/week position where the hours could vary between Monday – Friday.
This role pays $25/hr.
What to expect as a Medcor Administrative Assistant
Administrative Support for Client (Remote)
- Assisting HSE with workers’ compensation recordkeeping
- Tracking litigated workers’ compensation
- Supporting return to work claims tracking and status updates
- Tracking W/C settlement and amount of litigated claims
- Generating and responding to emails between, Client, TPA and Medcor
- Processing reports as requested
- Creating tracking spreadsheet of all duties and outcomes
- Perform data entry into client systems are required
Occupational Health Program Support
- Assist site HSE with recordkeeping and documentation as trained and assigned
Other
You Must
- Have at least a High School Diploma
- Have a minimum 1 year of clerical work experience
- Be able to type at least 50 wpm
- Be able to proofread
- Be an expert in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Have a basic understanding of office equipment, clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
- Be able to work independently and identify and solve problems
- Be able to organize and prioritize work
- Have excellent written, verbal and keyboarding skills, and be fluent in English
It’s a Plus If
- You have previous office experience
- You have previous Work Comp. experience
- You have medical certifications or experience
