Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Nutanix Deployment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will travel extensively across the U.S. to shadow and learn from senior engineers as they deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT deployments while working with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to assist in the deployment and maintenance of Nutanix infrastructure.
- Shadow experienced engineers to learn best practices in system setup, troubleshooting, and support.
- Participate in hands-on installation, configuration, and optimization of Nutanix hardware and software solutions.
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to virtualization, storage, and networking.
- Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and lessons learned from deployments.
- Provide remote support to customers and internal teams when not traveling.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with Nutanix technologies and industry trends.

- 1-2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or related field (or relevant education/certifications).
- Basic understanding of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, or AHV preferred).
- Familiarity with networking, storage, and server hardware concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 70%) and work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and team members.
- Ability to work remotely when not on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Nutanix Certified Associate (NCA) or willingness to obtain certification within the first 6 months.
- Experience with Linux or Windows server administration.
- Exposure to enterprise IT environments and data center operations.
