Position Summary:
West Marine Pro is seeking an Pro Account Management Admin to service Pro Customers across the channel.
The Pro Account Management Admin is a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual. This role is essential in managing customer account applications, overseeing PRO contract pricing, and ensuring exceptional service levels for customer emails and phone calls. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency in data entry while delivering top-tier customer service. Compensation Structure:
In this role, you will be compensated with a fixed hourly wage. You will receive regular pay based on the hours worked, with payments made on a consistent schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer Data Management & Team Support Communications
Customer Data Management and Maintenance (20%)
Provide team support, including handling phone, mail, email, and archiving van manifest data.
PRO Account Application Management & Processing
Manage PRO customer account applications and ensure proper processing and oversee the account denial and requalification process.
PRO Contract Management & Data Accuracy
Maintain and update PRO Contracts and ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
Support for PRO Account Management Projects
Assist with special projects related to PRO Account Management as needed
Education, Experience & Skills:
Minimum education required/preferred, area of study:
- Minimum High School or GED.
Minimum years of relevant experience preferred/required:
- Knowledge of marine products and the marine industry preferred.
- 2 to 3+ years Customer service experience preferred
Additional skills/knowledge required include:
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong adherence to policies, procedures, and operational processes.
- Adaptability to change and effective in setting and adjusting priorities as needed.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to providing exceptional care to all customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or experience with an accounting tool such as QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (or other CRM software) and AS400 is a plus.
- General availability Monday through Friday between 8am and 6pm Est.
