AptDeco (YC W14) is a peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling quality used furniture. Our customers love us because we take care of all the logistics on their behalf. ABOUT THE POSITION & TEAM
At AptDeco, Customer Care Associates are responsible for ensuring that our customers have an extraordinary and seamless experience every time they buy or sell furniture with us. Our customers love us because we take care of all the logistics on their behalf. As a member of the Customer Support Team, you’ll represent AptDeco and be the voice of the brand. The right person thrives in a fast paced environment and loves to find creative solutions to problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational, analytic, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a customer service or technical support environment with a strong desire to help people.
- Excellent time management skills and self-motivation. You follow through on tasks and don’t get overwhelmed easily.
- Creative problem solving experience. You have the ability to stay solutions-oriented when presented with a challenge.
- Familiarity with G Suite apps.
- Previous experience working at a startup is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You'll be tasked with supporting our users with OMG-Amazing!service and inspiring a growing user base to share the AptDeco experience. You'll have great opportunities to develop & foster various skill sets:
- Customer relations: Tame upset customers and turn them into passionate evangelists. Respond to emails & support issues promptly.
- Customer development: Identify new ways to get the AptDeco experience in front of new users. Identify and engage community advocates who are equally passionate about making buying & selling used furniture a breeze.
- Product development: Work closely with our engineering & operations teams to streamline process and assist in intelligently scaling a vibrant business.
- Operations: Coordinate logistics between buyers, sellers and moving partners

COMPENSATION
- $20-$22 Per Hour With Overtime As Needed
