Due to expansion, our multi-discipline firm is seeking a Project Engineer for our Electrical Engineering practice. CP Engineers, Architecture & Environmental Services has forty years of experience in site/civil, water/wastewater, municipal, MEP, and environmental services. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and controls for various building types and industrial projects.
- Perform electrical load, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations; and specify power distribution, grounding, lighting, and control systems and equipment.
- Create and modify electrical system layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within an MEP or construction company.
- EIT certification or willingness to take EIT test, with interest in eventually pursuing PE license.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical solutions and sustainable practices.
