Hospital Setting
Start: ASAP - November 1st - CAN EMERGENCY CREDENTIAL.
End Date: December 31st
LOA: 2 months - May have option to extend
Credentialing: Within 1-2 weeks, said they can emergency credential due to urgency of the position.
Schedule: Mon - Fri 7A - 3:30P
They will be on-call once a week M-TH and 1 weekend of call per month usually 7P Friday - 7A Monday
Patient Volume: About 10 cases a day (a ton of OB mainly)
Patient ratio is mostly adults, but some pediatrics and anything under 3 usually gets referred out to a Children's Hospital
Procedures: Procedures are bread and butter cases, General Surgery, Urological, scopes, ENT, and a lot of OB (usually up to 500 deliveries/year)
NO spine, neuro, cardio (rural hospital, no trauma)
EMR: Paragon for inpatient and Anesthesia is still on paper
License: Active & Clean IN License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS
Additional Info: Operating Rooms: 3 OR's, 1 for ENDO, and then in the OB unit as well for C-Sections
