The PUD CC locum tenens opportunity in Santa Cruz, CA.-Duration: August 2018 On-going per your availability (will consider permanent after 3 months)-Schedule: 2 weeks per month minimum (will consider 3-4 weeks of coverage)-Shift: 12 or 24 hour (see options below)>12 hour shifts: 7 days per week OR >24 hour shift (12 hour coverage in house coverage + 12 hour night call): 3 days per week -Required procedures: Central lines, chest tubes, vent management, run codes, thoracentesis -Optional procedures: Bronchoscopy (always 1 other Pulmonologist on floor able to perform)-Group: ALWAYS double coverage in the ICU - Critical Care physician (manages patients, intensive medicine), Hospitalist (open to ICU, deal with social issues, planning discharge, manages regular conditions)-Census: 16 ICU beds (cc doctors involved with 8 of those)-ICU is combined with Med/Surg, Cardio, Neuro patients-Hospital: 223 bed hospital-Required: BC/BE and California medical license
