Schedule: Monday Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Job Summary:
The HTL Grossing Technician will be responsible for performing gross examinations and handling specimen processing in accordance with established protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform gross examination of surgical specimens as per protocols.
- Document findings and communicate with pathologists regarding specimen details.
- Prepare specimens for further processing and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other lab professionals to ensure timely and accurate results.
Qualifications:
- Certified HTL (Histotechnologist) with relevant experience in grossing.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong knowledge of histology techniques and laboratory procedures.
