Job Type: Full-time (on-site)
Schedule: M-F (8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm)- no nights, weekends, or call
Responsibilities:
Perform initial orthopedic visits including but not limited to diagnosis, ordering imaging, and referring patients for in person care when appropriate.
The in-person visits will be at PCP offices (rotating locations in SE Florida) performing orthopedic exams and injections.
Build trust with patients through empathy, knowledge, experience, and shared decision making
Communicate and collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other members of the Icon clinical team
Create the patient's personalized treatment plan and along with your dedicated care coordinator, determine next steps and navigate the patient through the journey
Participate in Icon product enhancement through feedback on the current technology platform
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years as a PA practicing in outpatient orthopedics with experience in multiple subspecialties
Currently hiring providers licensed and living in or willing to move to Southeast Florida
