Overview:
Compensation / Benefits
- $27.84-$45.46/hr. based on previous work experience.
- Evening differential $2.50/hr.
- Night differential $3.00/hr.
- Weekend differential $3.00/hr.

Come join the Vascular Access Team (PICC TEAM) Of Norman Regional Health System. This team is a highly skilled group of healthcare professionals who are specially trained in vascular access. Serve as a member of the VAST team on an as needed basis. This position will work as the circulator assisting the team insert Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters, Central Venous Catheters, insert midline catheters, and assist front line healers with difficult IV's. Team members in this role develop their skills through a wide range of educational programs, collaborate with physicians to provide the best care and build upon a reputation for excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Responsibilities:
RN essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data, establishing goals, planning care strategy,
- establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care,
- evaluating responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.
Qualifications:
Education
- Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience in the healthcare field as a Registered Nurse required.
- Vasular Access experience prefered.
- Must hold a current Oklahoma Registered nurse license and be in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
Licensure / Certification
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
