BJC Home Care is hiring a PRN certified respiratory therapist to work alongside peers for CPAP, BiPap fittings and troubleshooting for the Illinois service area.
Schedule
Hours – 8a-4:30 or 10-6 – flexible; weeknight on-call rotation
Weekends – on-call rotation

OverviewBJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs.

The Home Medical Equipment Department of BJC Home Care Services offers quality medical equipment and services that our patients can purchase or rent. We offer equipment delivery and comprehensive training on the use of the equipment. The Home Medical Equipment Department also provides home respiratory equipment, supplies and services for patients who need home oxygen or other respiratory therapies, with staff that include registered therapists and other highly trained professionals.
Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
Provide routine, diagnostic, therapeutic, and assessment responsibilities for respiratory care. To support the provision of advanced diagnostics/assessment.
Responsibilities
Instructs patients and family members on respiratory treatments and procedures.Provides routine and advanced respiratory care to patients. Makes rounds on assigned patients.Documents care provided to patients following the plan of care.
