Summary:
Provides care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients. Assesses patient's condition, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatments, observes patients' progress, records pertinent observations, and reports reaction to drugs and treatments. Assists physicians with examinations and prepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use. Must be able to respond within 30 minutes for oncall.
The hours are as follows 32 flex - either 4 (8hrs) shifts or 5 (6.5hrs) shifts with 1-2 days on call per week and 1 weekend per month
Education:
* Associate Degree
Education specialization:
* Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program
Experience:
* 1 year Critical Care along with an additional one year experience preferably in an Interventional area - CC, ER or Radiology
Experience:
* One year experience in Med/Surg required plus additional one year, preferably in an interventional area - CC, ER or Radiology.
* IR/Cath lab experience preferred
* ICU experience preferred
Essential:
* Florida State Registered Nurse License
* BLS and ACLS ( American Red Cross or American Heart Associate)
