Overview
Position Summary
The Manager, Clinical Integrity at Carenet Health is responsible for developing and overseeing policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure that all clinical information supporting the company’s products and services is evidence-based, current, and aligned with industry standards. This role requires frequent independent judgment and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain the accuracy and integrity of clinical content. The Manager will uphold Carenet Health's mission, values, and service standards.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Evidence-Based Updates
- Conduct routine literature reviews to identify new clinical evidence, guidelines, and standards of care that impact Carenet Health’s products and services.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director to assess the impact of new evidence and ensure timely updates to clinical content and protocols.
Clinical Logic Management
- Oversee the periodic review of clinical logic driving analytics and campaigns to ensure alignment with evidence-based practices and client business requirements.
- Partner with Analytics, Medical Leadership, and other departments to target contracted client populations effectively.
Vendor Collaboration
- Manage communication with third-party health information content vendors to address concerns, content requests, and updates.
- Coordinate the timely installation of new vendor content in partnership with internal teams.
Content Governance
- Develop and implement clinical content governance policies and procedures to ensure consistent documentation, evidence base alignment, and compliance with accreditation requirements (e.g., NCQA, URAC).
- Maintain accurate resources across coaching protocols, patient education materials, and analytic models.
Resource Evaluation
- Identify and evaluate clinical content resources to support product development and health coaching services.
- Prepare recommendations for resource investments, including managing vendor contracts as needed.
Collaboration with Other Teams
- Provide clinical information and support for Carenet Health’s various departments and associated organizations as required.
Quality and Compliance
- Maintain required licensures and complete mandatory training to ensure compliance with all regulatory, security, and privacy standards.
- Serve as a member of the Clinical Leadership Committee and Quality Leadership team, supporting initiatives that drive clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
Licensure:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in total population health services, including health coaching, disease management, predictive modeling, and shared decision-making.
- Experience with evidence-based medicine principles, including literature review, critical appraisal, and evidence synthesis.
Skills:
- Strong ability to communicate complex clinical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in evaluating clinical content for quality, relevance, and integration.
- Familiarity with accreditation programs such as NCQA and URAC.
Working Conditions
- Environment: This role primarily involves working in a standard office environment with regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment.
- Physical Requirements:
- Mostly sedentary role, requiring prolonged periods of sitting.
- Occasional movement within the office to access equipment or attend meetings.
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers for computer-related tasks.
