Licensure:
You must have an active NM license or be in the process of obtaining or reactivating one. Currently, obtaining a license takes 6 months if the applicant is new to practice; otherwise, it takes approximately 3 months.
Provider cannot be within 60 miles of the facility
The provider must contract with the agency before placing a bid.
Provider must be willing to work nights, weekends, and take call.
Must be board-certified with at least one year of experience.
ACLS, PALS, AND BLS are required.
Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing regional blocks.
TRAINING FOR BLOCKS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED, AND THEY MUST PROVIDE CASE LOGS OF BLOCKS PERFORMED.
The presentation must explain any gaps in service, malpractice claims, or sanctions from a board of nursing.
