Contracts Coordinator
Location: Remote
Hourly Pay: $22 - $24 per hour

The Contracts Coordinator supports all of GMR’s ground ambulance operations in coordinating facility/insurance contract implementation, rate updates and other billing related items. The Contracts Coordinator reviews all new contracts and provides timely and accurate information to our billing partners.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the accurate implementation of new facility and insurance contracts.
- Coordinate the accurate implementation of yearly rate updates.
- Monitor and maintain the Contract Administration Team inbox.
- Host contract set-up conference calls with GMR operations and our billing team.
- Assist in coordinating resolution of contract related questions and issues.
- Assist in collecting data and maintaining reports as necessary.
- Ability to work overtime as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Management or Business Administration preferred.
- One year experience in third party billing; knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations recommended. Experience related to contract billing/administration preferred.
- Computer skills to ensure proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
- Ability to calculate numbers, correct entries, and post to records.
- Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
- Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
- Be organized and meticulous with excellent follow through abilities.
- Demonstrate flexibility with shifting daily priorities.
- Meet deadlines working within tight time constraints.
- Proficient in medical and legal terminology.
