Title: HR Generalist- Talent

Job Description:
The HR Generalist - Talent will play a key role in supporting the Talent Acquisition function at RESA Power. This individual contributor position is responsible for managing critical Talent Acquisition processes, including onboarding, provisioning, compliance (EEO, I9, drug testing, background screening), employee experience, and social media marketing campaigns. The role will also partner with various business partners, including Talent Acquisition, HR, technology, safety, and more, to manage and execute programs that drive a positive employee experience and successful talent acquisition outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Provide support for both the US and Canada talent acquisition functions. Own and manage the new hire onboarding process for both US and Canada, including drug testing, I9 compliance, pre-hire assessments, reference checks, provisioning and tracking items, and background screening.
Track and manage new hire onboarding compliance. Enhance and maintain onboarding systems to ensure smooth transitions for new hires. Develop strategies to improve onboarding from signed offer to the first week of employment. Coordinate new hire processes, including collaboration with IT, Safety, and Accounting departments, and schedule orientation sessions. Work closely with recruiters and Hiring Managers to create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Analyze recruiting metrics, including offer-to-acceptance ratios and employee experience feedback. Recommend improvements to recruitment processes based on data insights.
Partner with HR Operations to ensure EEO compliance. Manage site access for existing employees by ordering background and drug screenings. Manage DOT access for new hires.
Collaborate with HR Operations to maintain and enhance the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Develop innovative solutions based on market research insights.
Manage the company's social media career sites, job boards, creating compelling content to position RESA Power as an employer of choice.
Leverage technology to personalize and improve the recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Oversee the internal and external referral program. Promote referral opportunities and maintain program relevance.
Assist Talent Acquisition with pre-screening candidates for specified openings. Evaluate candidate qualifications and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Own the new hire follow-up process, with check-ins at regular intervals.
Assist in data management of ATS, passive candidate database, resumes from job boards, and other data used in recruiting.
Assist with other HR projects as required.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and 3 years of relatable experience.
Strong onboarding aptitude and knowledge.
Knowledge of social and online tools to brand RESA Power as an employer of choice, and to develop and build additional pipelines.
Knowledge of UKG system is preferred.
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
Strong organizational and consultative skills.
Must be meticulous and detail-oriented.
Strong capabilities with Microsoft products
Excellent customer service experience, networking and partnering skills at all levels of an organization.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Proactive and resourceful. Self-motivated.
Experience with I9's a plus.
Working with companies that have Canadian presence would be considered an asset.

Additional Information:
Job: Full-Time
Location: Remote - Nationwide
Travel: Up to 10% travel.
Compensation: Pay ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 (depending on skillset and experience) per year.
Relocation: Not offered for this role.
