Job Summary
An acute, full-service medical center in Illinois and PRN Healthcare are seeking a locum or locum-to-perm OB/GYN physician to join immediately. This position requires strong OB and GYN experience, covering Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with a 1:3 call rotation including nights and weekends. The role encompasses clinic, hospital, and call settings with 15 beds, supported by a dedicated team including medical assistants, RNs, and sonographers. The practice entails basic OB/GYN services, including colposcopy, with approximately a 50/50 mix of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, and a 60% focus on GYN. Shift Schedule
Shift: Monday-Friday 8A-5P & 1:3 Call (Nights and Weekends)
Scheduling: ASAP Ongoing (13 Weeks+)
Required Certification & Experience
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- IL License or IMLC preferred
- NRP
- Case Logs for the past 2 years
- Cases/Procedures include low and high risk pregnancy, FHR Interpretation, OB ultrasounds, Amniocentesis, Routine Delivery, Complicated Delivery, VBAC, Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations, Office/minor gynecology, Surgical gynecology, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor only, Operative/Major (includes diagnostic)
