- Urgent Care opportunity Locum Tenens
- Location: 20 miles South of Chicago, Illinois
- Duration: ASAP start - ongoing
- Shifts: VARY (Monday-Thursday are usually 12-hour shifts. Friday
is a 10-hour shift, and Saturday-Sunday is an 8-hour shift. Option for 4-8 hour per day part-time)
-Clinic hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:00am 8:00pm
Friday: 8:00am 6:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am 4:00pm
-No call, No holidays
- Patients: about 30 patients per day, ages Newborns (3 months and up) Geriatric
-Staff: 1 other physician on site, RNs and MAs, lab tech, x-ray tech and phlebotomist
- Procedures: I&D s, Lacerations, closed reductions (except for shoulder dislocations), conduct pre-employment, school, and sports physicals, Burns, local anesthetic techniques, peripheral nerve block, removal of nonpenetrating foreign body
- EMR: Meditech
- Requirements: Board certified or board eligible, active Illinois license
