The Pediatric Hospitalist Physician provides specialized care for infants and children in a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. This role includes performing critical procedures such as newborn resuscitation, intubation, and umbilical line placement. The position requires board certification in Pediatrics and several additional certifications, with flexible night shifts available.
Location: Maine
Rate: Hourly plus expenses
Licenses: Prefer Active Maine but will review those who will need Maine license
Start: September ongoing need for 3 months and option to extend
Shifts open: Nights, 12-Hour shifts, 20 shifts a month needed
Certs: BC PEDS, PALS, ACLS, BLS. (Checking NALS)
Volume: TBD
Procedures: Must be able to resuscitate a newborn, including intubation & umbilical line placement
Trauma: Level 2 NICU
EMR: SMR
