An Anesthesiology Physician is responsible for providing anesthesia care in a fast-paced trauma level 1 hospital environment, supervising CRNAs while managing adult and occasional pediatric patients. The position requires experience with EPIC EMR, board certification, and an active IL license. The physician will work full-time with scheduled shifts, focusing on various surgical cases excluding OB, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Shift Details: 7a-5:30p
Schedule: Monday-Friday, No call

Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full time- prefer 5 10 s/week No overtime applicable. Will consider minimum coverage of 5 consecutive days/month.
Patients per day: depends on case load but will be fast paced
Patient Population/Age: Mostly adult, some ped
Department Description: Trauma level 1. MUST be comfortable in a fast paced environment. Will see Cardiac, thoracic, ortho, GI, bread and butter, peds cases. No OB. May have some GYN procedures, but no labor and delivery. Can opt out of cardiac cases if preferred. Must be comfortable to supervise CRNAs.
EMR: EPIC- must be experienced
