JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible to ensure that documentation is received from customers regarding DEA “Know Your Customer” process. Responsible for reviewing documentation related to Suspicious Orders to comply with Federal DEA requirements. Responsible for communicating the DEA “Know Your Customer” process to internal and external customers via phone or other electronic methods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 60% Responsible to ensure that proper documentation is received from customers regarding DEA “Know Your Customer” process. Responsible for reviewing documentation related to Suspicious Orders to comply with Federal DEA requirements.
- 30% Responsible for communicating the DEA “Know Your Customer” process to internal and external customers via phone or other electronic methods.
- 10% Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Very good telephone etiquette and effective dispute resolution.
- Proficient in applicable computer systems.
- Good procedural decision making skills.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 2 or more years of related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
General education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
TRAVEL/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Office environment. No special physical demands required.
COMPENSATION:
The posted range for this position is $33,815 - 52,836, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
