About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and organized Tax Administrative Assistant to join our tax team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a background in tax filing. The position will be 20 hours per week except for tax season (twelve weeks per year) at 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients via phone and email, ensuring a positive experience.
Build relationships with customers and address their questions and concerns.
Attend client meetings to take notes and capture key information.
Convert financial statements from PDF to Excel using Adobe Acrobat.
Prepare documents in Adobe by editing and modifying PDFs.
Organize and manage filing systems and documentation in ShareFile.
Assist with scheduling meetings for the Vice President of Tax.
Retrieve and upload prior year tax returns and financial reports from Uplinq Bookkeeping.
Generate financial reports in QuickBooks Online as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience with QuickBooks Online, Adobe, ShareFile, and Google Suite.
Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new software quickly.
Excellent organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Time management and good follow-through is a must.
