Job Summary:
The Director of Revenue Operations (RevOps) will play a critical role in driving TradeCentric’s revenue growth and operational efficiency. As the first hire in this capacity, you will establish and lead the RevOps function, reporting directly to the CFO, and collaborating closely with our VP Sales, VP Marketing and VP Customer Success. This role is pivotal in enabling our go-to-market strategy through accurate and relevant reporting, data-driven insights, streamlined processes, and effective collaboration across sales, marketing, and customer success teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for building scalable systems, and experience in aligning revenue-focused teams to achieve strategic business objectives.
Report to: Chief Financial Officer
Pay Range: The target base salary for this position ranges from $150,000-$170,000, with total max on-target earnings (OTE) of up to $200,000. The final OTE will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s location, experience, skills, expertise, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
Work Location: This role is 100% remote. While we prefer candidates based in the below city/states, we are open to considering candidates from other locations if you feel you meet the role’s qualifications. Essential Functions:
Strategic Leadership: Build/lead Revenue Operations capabilities (process and systems) to enable the company to achieve go-to-market growth and efficiency objectives.
Analytics and Insights: Build and maintain revenue analytics dashboards using Salesforce and other BI tools to provide visibility and actionable insights for the executive team, including board-level reporting.
Forecasting: Develop and lead quarterly forecasting process of new, expansion, losses/contractions ARR and implementation fees in partnership with Sales and Customer Success Teams.
Salesforce Architecture: Serve as the Salesforce architect, overseeing cross-functional Salesforce admins, ensuring optimal system configuration, data integrity, and reporting capabilities to ensure visibility into business performance
Commission Strategy: Design and implement scalable, transparent commission structures in collaboration with marketing, sales and customer success leadership
Revenue Planning: Partner with marketing, sales and customer success to analyze pipeline performance, forecast bookings/revenue and identify growth opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align processes, improve handoffs, and optimize the buyer journey
Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices for go-to-market operations, including lead management, opportunity tracking, and customer lifecycle metrics
Technology Rollout: Lead the implementation of a Business Intelligence (BI) tool to enhance data visualization and decision-making capabilities
Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for go-to-market teams, providing regular insights and recommendations for improvementOther duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or another quantitative field7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related roleStrong business acumen, with a deep understanding of SaaS revenue metrics and subscription-based business modelsProven track record of enabling revenue growth through analytics, process improvement, and technologyFamiliarity with designing commission structures and incentive plansAdvanced proficiency in Salesforce, including configuration and reportingHands-on experience implementing and managing BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Exceptional knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data extraction, manipulation, analysis and visualizationExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authorityExcellent communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing and presenting board-level reports
Preferred Qualification/Experience:
Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related fieldExperience in a private equity-backed companyExperience with a growth stage company, scaling from $10M to $50M
