Salary Range: $48,000 - $55,000 a year

Job Overview
Supervise the daily operations of a non-exempt team members for physician payment posting, customer service
and correspondence. Oversees the development, implementation, and achievement of operational goals for clients
and the company. This role ensures adherence to client policies and procedures and performs all assigned job-
related duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily processes for insurance and patient payment posting to include paper and electronic. Working with client to reconcile daily batches.
- Oversee phone system and team members who are taking patient phone calls, giving estimates, and answering billing questions.
- Oversee on-site correspondence processes to ensure mail follows appropriate workflow
- Facilitate interviewing of potential team members
- Ensure team member compliance with HIPAA, State and Federal Laws and Guidelines
- Continuous training and mentoring of team members
- Ensure team members comply with productivity standards while maintaining quality levels.
- Review quality audits with team members weekly and coach for improvement where needed.
- Review team member’s performance daily and provide coaching to team member if not meeting key metrics.
- Escalate employee deficiency to manager if coaching attempts have failed.
- Report and discuss team member and team progress with Operations Manager.
- Carry out disciplinary counseling and implement Employee Success Plans, as needed.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Responsible for team member payroll accuracy and approval.
- Complete performance evaluation of staff.
- Work with management to develop policies.
- Possible travel.
- Participate in client payor/internal meetings as requested.
- Complete all assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience within the last six (6) months with a healthcare provider or an outsourcing company.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor in physician payment posting, customer service and understanding of correspondence from payors and patients.
- Complete your HFMA CRCR and CSPR certifications within 90 days
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle administration: CMS rules, HIPAA, etc.
- Knowledge of GoToMeeting/Zoom and TEAMS
- Skilled in basic analytics.
- Skilled in time management, continuous performance improvement techniques, management, leadership, written and verbal communication, basic math, computers, problem solving, interpersonal communication, Microsoft Office, decision making, and ethics.
