The primary focus of the Packaging Technician at the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is to develop and maintain packaging specifications, assembly instructions and other documentation. This position will work with the Packaging Engineers, co-manufacturing groups and vendors to create and provide documents for the Packaging Engineering Team. This role also assists the Packaging Engineers with plant trials, ship testing and packaging development.

Specific Knowledge & Skills • Bachelors Degree • 0-5 years experience in consumer products or related industry

Other Job Requirements • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Required to regularly sit • Must be able to work seated or standing for at least 8 hours • Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time paying close attention to detail • Works in a regular office environment • Some work in a production environment • Occasional local travel required • Detail oriented • Ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date records and databases

Salary: $64,190 to $81,150
