Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Video Execution:

Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar for all social platforms, aligned with a 12-month marketing plan.
Own the creative strategy, ensuring content is trend-forward, platform-optimized, and resonates with our target audience.
Create and manage TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts content focused on growing our sports audience
Quickly communicate, produce, and edit trending short-form content for baseball, softball, and pickleball, ensuring same-day publication
Edit and produce monthly podcast episodes, including audio cleanup, segment arrangement, and final production

Community Management & Engagement:

Foster a strong sense of community by actively engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and managing conversations.
Build and nurture parasocial relationships with followers, acting as the face of our brands on camera
Assist with community insight tracking, ensuring that cross-functional stakeholders are aware of applicable insights
Actively listen to our community, surfacing insights, trends, and customer feedback to improve our social strategies and products.

Analytics & Reporting:

Monitor, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, including audience growth, engagement, and revenue
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for future content strategies.

Trend Monitoring:

Stay ahead of social media trends, identifying and leveraging emerging opportunities to enhance brand visibility and relevance.

Paid Social Support & Partnership Activation:

Assist in executing paid social media campaigns across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Collaborate with influencers and UGC creators to develop creative assets.
Assist with reporting analysis and campaign optimization
Stay up to date on paid social trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to help grow brand visibility.
Develop and execute affiliate marketing initiatives, activating influencers and building partnerships that align with brand goals.

Performance Goals:

Set clear performance benchmarks for social channels, balancing budget requirements with follower and engagement growth objectives.

Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams and external agencies to align paid and organic campaigns, optimizing synergies for maximum impact.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing leadership with informed recommendations on message priorities and channel strategies.

As the parent company of JustBats, JustGloves, and JustPaddles, Pro Athlete, Inc. represents more than just our individual brands—we embody a culture of passion, innovation, and excellence in the sports e-commerce industry. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in defining and amplifying the voice of Pro Athlete, Inc. as well as its separate, individual brands, and you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across all departments to ensure consistency while tailoring our message to resonate with diverse audiences—from loyal customers to potential employees and partners.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Past experience in social media, marketing, and video editing is a MUST. Whether you learned in school or in the field, the key is that you live and breathe content.
Proficient in industry-standard editing software (Adobe, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro)
Exceptional written communication skills and a knack for concise, impactful messaging.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to operate autonomously.
Experience with social media analytics tools and interpreting performance data.
Deep understanding of parasocial relationships and online community-building principles.
Willingness to be on-camera when needed and represent the brand authentically.
Portfolio demonstrating quick-turnaround video projects and short-form content
Experience with baseball, softball, or pickleball is preferred but not required
Experience working with and recruiting other content creators is preferred but not required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position that is expected to meet our hybrid work environment. You can be remote nearly 100% of the time or work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with Mondays and Fridays being mandatory remote days.

Travel:

There is some travel expected but mostly local for video and photo shoots/content.
