Virtual Driver Trainer

At First Student, our Virtual Trainers play a crucial role in delivering training and onboarding programs remotely. Specializing in virtual training delivery, this role is responsible for providing comprehensive training to CDL drivers, field trainers, and other safety roles using online platforms and virtual classroom environments.

Major Responsibilities

Deliver virtual training sessions to new and current operators and field training teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Develop engaging and interactive training content, collaborating with training & onboarding teams to continuously improve programs and materials.
Utilize various online platforms and tools to create immersive learning experiences for trainees.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in virtual training delivery.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment in virtual training sessions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must currently hold, or previously held, Class B or higher CDL with School Bus and Passenger Endorsements
Must meet FMCSA and state requirements for Entry Level Driver Training Theory Trainer.
2 years&#39; experience operating as a school bus driver with Class B CDL or higher and federal and state-required endorsements.
1 to 3 years of experience delivering in person or virtual training or online education programs.
Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with virtual training platforms and online collaboration tools.
Possess reliable internet connection and necessary peripherals for virtual training delivery.
