The Communications Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our communications strategy, bringing exceptional writing skills, effective storytelling, and a collaborative mindset to a dynamic team. You’ll have the opportunity to take on exciting projects that make a real impact. The team is going to elevate current communications efforts, and the Communications Specialist as a key driver of our awareness strategy. This position is integral to our marketing team, contributing to SEON’s mission to lead the fraud-fighting space. Reporting directly to Communications Director , this role offers the chance to influence how we connect with our audience and expand our reach.

This role is based in Austin with a hybrid schedule, coming into the office a few days a week.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and help develop messaging and content for internal and external audiences
Work with PR agencies on media relations campaigns
Help measure engagement and effectiveness of internal/external campaigns

What You’ll Bring:

At least three years in PR/Internal Communications
Strong storytelling abilities
Ability to develop compelling content quickly
Experience working alongside leadership and various internal teams
A drive to get better at your job every day with a competitive spirit
The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices and analytics tools (like Google Analytics)
Ability to manage projects, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination with other team members and stakeholders
Digital PR and marketing trends
Experience with programs like PowerPoint

Amazing If You Also Have:

Experience with employee engagement initiatives
Experience in industries in banking, finance, fintech, or payments
Previous start-up experience (in SaaS)
