At Kid Chess, we’ve been teaching elementary school students the art of chess since 1998. Our goal is to bring out each student’s full potential and build lasting relationships with them and their families. We’re currently seeking a highly organized and efficient office administrator to join our team at our Roswell, GA location.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone with:

Superior people skills
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications
The ability to use office equipment like computers, printers, scanners, and phones
Availability most weekdays afternoons, with flexible scheduling between 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Trainability to become adept with custom registration software
The ability to carry, count, and stock inventory items
The ability to pass a full background check

We’re looking for someone who’s:

Well-organized and dependable
Kind and good with kids
Either knows how to play chess or is willing to learn the basics
Excellent at customer service for phone and email correspondence
Able to communicate effectively with coaches, parents, students, and schools while working as part of a team
Possesses a clear, pleasant phone voice
Has reliable transportation
Seeks to educate, learn, work as a team, and have fun!

What you’ll do:

As our office administrator, you’ll be responsible for:

Responding to phone and email inquiries
Coordinating with coaches, parents, students, and schools
Working closely with other teams within the company
A variety of other administrative tasks
