Il Mercato, which was designed to reflect the historic beauty of its Magazine Street location, presented a perfect match to the taste and sophistication that Joel Catering embodies.

What you'll do: • Create and revise proposals, floor plans, and event designs • Draw up and send contracts, process checks and make bank deposits • Schedule and coordinate client tastings, donation events, and photoshoots • Manage and update sales collateral • Answer phones, greet incoming meetings, and other miscellaneous office duties • Occasional errand running • Manage thank you notes and vendor gifts • Occasionally help at events on nights and weekends (comp time given) • Special projects as needed

What You'll Need:

• Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required as this is an entry level position • Computer savvy

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors and co-workers

• Phenomenal communication skills

• Able to give, receive, and implement constructive criticism

• Ability to work well without micromanagement

When you'll work:

• Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00 with occasional night and weekend event assisting, we'll comp that time for you
