Malt Products, a family owned company for over 50 years seeks Packaging Technicians for our new dried product facility expansion in Dayton, Ohio.

Packaging Technicians are responsible for, but not limited to, operating the packaging equipment, packaging and palletizing dried product in a semi-automated environment and maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation levels in their area. In addition ... Packaging Technicians assist with the breakdown and cleaning of equipment and provide support to the Brewery Technicians as needed.

The role involves:

Working in a team environment in a new manufacturing facility, 24/5 schedule currently shifting to a 24/7 once fully staffed;

Taking personal ownership to create a safe work environment for all employees;

Learning and following all procedures and programs which are a necessary part of producing food products;

Maintaining the safe, clean and effective operation of the plant and machinery;

Operating in a hands-on manner and be capable of learning how to operate the plant’s automated controls;

High school Diploma or GED are highly desirable.

The dryer is the culmination of a five-year, $50 million investment comprising the expansion of our brew house and the addition of a mash-filter, expanded laboratory, R&D and customer application capabilities.

In Minneapolis, we have also created a new Innovations Lab which helps food & beverage manufacturers test ingredients, experiment with new formulations, perform sensory evaluations and shelf life testing and gain insight into critical flavor and stability properties.
