What You’ll Do

As a Battery Systems Engineer Contractor, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and bringing to life 5kW–7kW lithium-ion battery pack configurations. You’ll collaborate with top-tier engineers, drive innovation from concept to manufacturing, and see your work power real-world applications.

Highlights of the Role

Design and validate state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery packs.
Partner with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to deliver high-performance solutions.
Influence cell selection, BMS integration, safety systems, and thermal management.
Lead prototype builds and hands-on testing during critical project phases.
Contribute to manufacturability and scalability, ensuring designs are ready for production.

What We’re Looking For

Engineering background (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
Proven track record in lithium-ion battery pack design and manufacturing (5kW–10kW range preferred).
Hands-on knowledge of pack architecture, safety standards, and validation testing.
Strong problem-solver who loves both design and getting hands-on with builds.
A collaborator who can thrive in both remote work and onsite lab environments.
