What you get to do:

Respond to medical emergencies for guests and team members in a timely manner at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and or Water Country USA. Follow established VA OEMS protocols for ALS patient care.

Interacting with guests and team members in a fun, exciting, flexible Part Time job.
Performing EMT Intermediate/Paramedic skills per state protocols
Assisting Registered Nurse and other staff with patient care as directed
Answering guest and team member questions via telephone or in person
Maintain department vehicles in accordance with company and state OEMS standards

What it takes to succeed:

High School diploma or GED
Certified as an EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Paramedic in Virginia
Must be 18 years of age or older
At least 12 months pre-hospital/ER work required
Hold current American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent/ACLS preferred
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Must be a RELEASED Paramedic/Intermediate EMT by Virginia State OMD, in order to work independently as an ALS provider.

Compensation: $19.00 an hour. Position eligible to receive up to $500 bonus
