Practice Setting
- Inpatient pediatric care with a focus on quality patient outcomes
- Support from pediatric-certified nurses and specialty consultations in Ortho, ENT, General Surgery, and more
- Level 3 NICU care managed by NICU hospitalists
Schedule
- Typical schedule is 7 on/7 off with day shifts
- Night call from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. (pager only; no overnight onsite requirement)
- Flexible and ongoing opportunities available!
Procedures and Cases
- Patient census averages 3–6; the cap is 12
- No circumcisions required; procedures include managing phototherapy cases
Requirements
- Board Certification in Pediatrics
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
- KY or Interstate Medical License candidates only
