Pay Information$350 to $355 per hour
About The PositionSeeking a skilled Physician Anesthesiologist to join their team, providing coverage in a supportive community hospital setting.
Practice Setting:
- Community hospital with 4 ORs, 2 endoscopy sites, and obstetric services
- Care team model with CRNA supervision; solo on-call duties
Schedule:
- Day shift: 0700-1600
- Night shift home call: 1600-0700
- Weekend 24-hour home call
- Call rotation: approximately once every 4 weeks
Procedures and Cases:
- General surgical cases for adults and pediatrics
- Regional anesthesia, including spinal and epidural
- Obstetrical cases and acute pain management
- Insertion of central and arterial lines
Requirements:
- Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
- Maine State License (willing to accept those needing to obtain it)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Credentialing Requirements:
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
